The apartment had a lovely and quirky design, with attention to detail that really made it stand out. It was also very clean, which was a big plus. The host was incredibly helpful and provided us with useful tips and local information. The apartment had a great location, with fabulous mountain views, and easy parking was available.
While the reed diffusers and plug-in fresheners gave the hotel a fresh scent, it was a bit overpowering for me due to my sensory issues. However, I understand that this might be a personal preference and it wouldn't deter me from visiting again.

The Clacks Rustic Abode was a delightful stay for us. The space was more than enough for two people and the small apartment had a quirky and unique design. The stunning mountain views from the property were a bonus and the easy parking made our stay hassle-free. The cleanliness of the living room and kitchen was to a high standard, and we appreciated the well-equipped property. The added extras, such as the welcome note on the keyring, snacks, and variety of drinks, made us feel so welcome and started our holiday off on the right foot. The host was incredibly friendly, provided useful tips and local information, and was considerate throughout our entire stay. We couldn't have asked for a better place to have a relaxing and amazing holiday.
One drawback was that the bathroom was not cleaned well, with hairs left in the bathtub. Additionally, as the property is a used home, we felt a bit intrusive and aware of the owner's personal belongings.
